Cellularis - See the invisible
The Cellularis advanced ophthalmic camera provides a new optical imaging method, combining trans-scleral flood illumination of the retina with adaptive optics (AO-TFI). This allows the observation of structures at cellular level that are invisible with regular, transpupillary illumination. Images are 10 times more detailed than with standard instruments, making possible the quantitative measurement of affected tissue in the early stages of disease.
